Internship Close-Out

Wrap up another internship, proudly looking back on all that’s been achieved and grateful for the curiosity, energy, and fresh perspective brought to the team. Coming in with little direct experience in space hardware, our intern quickly grew into the role with guidance, technical curiosity, and determination. The main challenge: designing a tank for the high total impulse configuration of our Ascend Propulsion system. Some highlights of the work: - Defined design requirements aligned with ECSS, SpaceX RPUG, and launch safety standards. - Designed and modeled the tank’s geometry and structure. - Developed a modular bracket for seamless integration. - Validated every detail with advanced simulations: pressure, vibrations, environmental loads, and more. We’re impressed by the achievements made during this internship and proud to help launch new engineering talent from Annecy into the world of satellite subsystems! 🛰💡
