Preventive solutions to space debris

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

The first ecosystem of equipment tailored for satellite end-of-life management.

With the booming space industry, space debris is growing exponentially, threatening access to space and vital services like communication, navigation and natural disaster management. The solution? Responsible disposal of space assets at end-of-mission, now a legal requirement since 2022.

To that end Ascend Beyond Space offers the first complete and accessible ecosystem of compatible and complementary equipment designed for this purpose, providing a sustainable solution to the growing challenge of space debris.

Close collaboration with CNES

Ascend Beyond Space is proud to announce that it has been working closely with the French Space Agency (Centre National d'Études Spatiales) to develop the next generation of space‑grade propellant‑gauging units. This new sensor combines pressure and temperature measurement in a single compact device; perfected for high‑precision readings at end‑of‑mission while delivering exceptional performance from launch to shutdown. Unlike anything else on the market, it is being tailored for constellations, scalable to hundreds of units per year, while also becoming the first sensor fully compatible with hydrogen peroxide (HTP), a rapidly rising greener propellant for next-generation satellites.

ABS joined Slush in Helsinki, Finland

Ascend Beyond Space was proud to take part in Slush this year with its own booth, made possible thanks to the support of CCI Lyon Métropole Saint-Étienne Roanne and EEN Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. As members of the official regional delegation, the event offered a unique platform to share our vision, connect with high-impact innovators, and engage in meaningful discussions with investors, all while keeping our focus firmly on the road ahead. The delegation also had the opportunity to attend several key moments during the week, including the reception at the French Embassy in Helsinki, organised by Business France Nordics and hosted by H.E. Ambassador Raja Rabia. ABS was honoured to represent the region alongside 10 outstanding start-ups: DIAMFAB, Reventus Pharma, Manitty, Verley, ClearSurgery, Pelican Health, CirculaCar, Finishers, and Fleetiz, showcasing the strength and diversity of innovation from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes on the international stage.

ABS to design the EPS architecture of PAVE Space kick-stage

Ascend Beyond Space has started a collaboration with PAVE Space SA on the Electrical Power System and architectural design for their kickstage vehicle. PAVE Space is a Swiss company built on the success of the Gruyère Space Program, which developed Europe’s first reusable rocket demonstrator. Its expertise spans space propulsion, control algorithms, and rapid integration of complex systems. PAVE Space now target last-mile satellite delivery, using its kickstage to move multi-ton payload from LEO to any orbit within 24 hours! Ascend Beyond Space will be contributing to this endeavor with our expertise in spacecraft power systems to help define a robust, efficient, and high-performance electrical power system architecture for the vehicle.

OUR EXPERTISE

Ascend Beyond Space's core expertise spans three pivotal domains crucial for mission termination and passivation: power subsystems, fluidics subsystems, and propulsion subsystems.
