Preventive solutions to space debris

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

The first ecosystem of equipment tailored for satellite end-of-life management.

With the booming space industry, space debris is growing exponentially, threatening access to space and vital services like communication, navigation and natural disaster management. The solution? Responsible disposal of space assets at end-of-mission, now a legal requirement since 2022.

To that end Ascend Beyond Space offers the first complete and accessible ecosystem of compatible and complementary equipment designed for this purpose, providing a sustainable solution to the growing challenge of space debris.

Ascend Beyond Space at the Space Propulsion Conference

May 2026

Ascend Beyond Space at the Space Propulsion Conference

Ascend Beyond Space attended this year’s Space Propulsion Conference, joining key industry players to discuss the evolving priorities of the space sector. The event highlighted three major themes: European sovereignty, sustainability, and the need for scalable industrial production. Discussions reinforced the importance of strengthening local supply chains, improving long-term orbital responsibility, and preparing the industry for mass manufacturing of reliable space systems. For Ascend Beyond Space, these topics closely align with its ongoing work on resilient, scalable technologies developed in collaboration with trusted industrial partners in the French Alps region.
Radiation test campaign in Kiruna

Radiation test campaign in Kiruna

Ascend Beyond Space has successfully completed a Total Ionizing Dose (TID) radiation test campaign on key subsystems and components of its technology portfolio. Conducted at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF) Spacelab in Kiruna, Sweden, the campaign exposed hardware to a Cobalt-60 radiation source to simulate the cumulative effects of years spent in orbit. The testing was performed under Extra Low Dose Rate conditions, a demanding but highly representative approach that closely replicates the radiation environment experienced in space. These tests provide valuable insight into the long-term behaviour and reliability of critical electronics and materials, helping ensure robust performance throughout mission lifetimes. The Kiruna facility has supported the development of advanced space instrumentation for major European missions, including JUICE and Rosetta, making it an ideal environment for this important qualification effort. By combining rigorous testing with system-level analysis, Ascend Beyond Space continues to strengthen the reliability and resilience of its space technologies for future missions.
